Dear Donor,
I am happy to announce that Capella Regalis Men and Boys Choir has begun the 2011-2012 season. We have nine new boy choristers, who after hearing the choir in their school last spring auditioned and decided on their own that they wanted to join the choir. Some of these boys spoke with their music teacher while others were so eager to join they called me directly.
Our performance schedule this year will include a monthly evensong series, end of semester concerts, and a Nova Scotia tour. In addition to the season schedule we began the pre-season by singing a benefit for CHAMA, a charity that provides medication to children with Malaria in Africa.
Capella Regalis as a men and boys choir is a one of a kind choir in the Maritimes and the only university chapel men and boys choir in Canada. We are happy we are able to offer this music program to the city of Halifax. A few highlights from the past year have been:

Much of Capella Regalis success is the result of the support of listeners whose generosity has helped us launch new performances, recruit choristers, and purchase music.
