Our 14th season of our annual Christmas concert series featured some of the greatest works inspired by Christmas from throughout the centuries, including works by Praetorius, Britten, Tavener, Howells, and others, as well as specially programmed pieces to highlight collaborating artists Maritime Brass Quintet and organist Paul Halley. Here are some photos from the live concerts which took place on December 16, 2023 at St John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg, and on December 17, 2023 (two shows, at 4 & 7 pm) at the Cathedral Church of All Saints, Halifax.
We had a combined audience of over 1,500 people between these three performances, and many more tuned into our Online Video Broadcast which was available Dec 24-31. Plus, in Lunenburg, where a free-will offering was taken at the entrance, we raised $6,400 in donations for the local Food Bank!
