Happy Easter from Capella Regalis! Capella Regalis Choirs joined the All Saints Cathedral Choir on Easter Sunday to sing The Resurrection Mass. Popularly known as "Jazz Easter", this mass setting features music by Paul Halley, Ellington and Praetorius, arranged for choir, sax, drums, bass, percussion, piano, and organ. It was an Easter celebration like no other! Wyn Burkhart, grandson of Paul Halley (Organist & Director of Music at the Cathedral), made his debut at the organ. He was needed on the pipes while Paul on the piano, and Nick was on the drums! Here are some photos, below.
