Friday, June 18th at 7:00 PM
The newly formed St George's Men and Boys choir, under the direction of Nick Halley, will perform its debut concert of choral music and folk songs on Friday 18 June at 7.00 PM in the church on Brunswick Street.
The concert will feature some of the great choral music of the last eight centuries: beginning with an ancient and stunning Gregorian chant through to pieces by Byrd, Stanford, Howells and Halifax's own Paul Halley, together with a number of Irish folk tunes about the sea.
