Choral Evensong
Capella Regalis, Caelis Academy Ensemble and St Matthew's Choir

Visiting from Nova Scotia as part of their first-ever Quebec-Ontario Tour, Capella Regalis Choirs will join forces with local chamber choir Caelis Academy Ensemble as well as St Matthew's Choirs to sing a special joint Choral Evensong at St Matthew’s. The service will feature splendid music for Pentecost with works by English composers William Harris, Herbert Howells and Thomas Tallis.
Joining the choirs as guest organist will be celebrated Canadian composer and organist Paul Halley, who received his early music training as a chorister and assistant organist with The Men and Boys Choir of St Matthew’s under former Director of Music Brian Law.
All are welcome to attend this one-hour service of music and prayers at the close of day.
