Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir
Directed by NICK HALLEY
with Maritime Brass Quintet and Paul Halley (organ)
Our cherished Christmas concert series featuring the Men & Boys Choir is back for its 16th season! This year's concert program will reflect Nova Scotia’s increasingly multicultural population and celebrate the diverse heritage of our choir members with music in languages spoken by the choristers, from Arabic to Igbo.
The repertoire list includes music with texts in no fewer than EIGHT languages, including a brand new arrangement by Syrian-American composer Kareem Roustom, who will be performing himself with the choir on oud.
Questions about ordering tickets? Email [email protected] or call (902) 703-3938.
A Chorister's Christmas will also take place in Lunenburg on December 20 at St John's Anglican Church. The Lunenburg performance is presented by Musique Royale and is a fundraiser for the Lunenburg Inter-church Food Bank and Second Story Women’s Centre. Tickets to the Lunenburg concert are available at musiqueroyale.com.
