Evensong sung by Men & Girls Choir

Capella Regalis Men & Girls Choir will sing Choral Evensong this Sunday, as part of the 'Sundays at Four' series at the Cathedral Church of All Saints.
All are welcome to attend this free, one-hour service of music and readings.

Music Notes
The Introit is Howard Goodall’s setting of “The Lord Is My Shepherd” (known as the theme music for the BBC “Vicar of Dibley” series). The Canticles are by Herbert Murrill who was Professor of Composition at the Royal Academy of Music from 1933 until his death in 1952. The Anthem, “Draw Us In The Spirit’s Tether” is a setting of Percy Dearmer’s poem by Harold Friedell, one of the foremost American composers and organists of the 20th century.
