Scotia Festival of Music feat. Capella Regalis Boys
John Rutter's 'Visions' for solo violin, boys choir, harp and string orchestra
The boy sopranos of Capella Regalis will be featured in this year's Scotia Festival of Music Highlight Concert #5 alongside violinist Kerson Leong, harpist Lori Gemmell, and the Scotia Festival String Orchestra, conducted by Nick Halley. The boys will sing the Canadian premiere of Visions by renowned choral composer John Rutter, a four-movement violin concerto written for Kerson Leong, boys choir and strings.
Oxford University Press describes the work as "inspired by the idea of 'Jerusalem' both as a Holy City and as a utopian ideal of heavenly peace and seraphic bliss." Tickets are $35 for adults and $30 for 30-year-olds and under. To purchase tickets, please click here.
